Hilary is the founder of Indwelling, a psychotherapist, and a Sacred Counsel practitioner and educator. Her work integrates depth psychology, somatic awareness, trauma-responsive care, and the wisdom of Nature to support healing, self-understanding, and transformation. In addition to individual psychotherapy, she offers Sacred Counsel, workshops, mentorship, and immersive retreats.
Hilary specializes in neurodiversity-affirming psychotherapy, with particular attention to autism (Levels 1 and 2), ADHD, AuDHD, giftedness, and twice-exceptionality (2e). Her work also encompasses recovery from narcissistic and relational abuse, complex trauma, grief, and the exploration of unconscious and archetypal dimensions of human experience. As a profoundly gifted and autistic person herself, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with neurodivergent individuals navigating complexity, intensity, identity, and belonging.
Hilary holds a master's degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership from the University of Minnesota Duluth (2012), a master's degree in Depth Psychology with a specialization in Jungian and Archetypal Studies (2019), and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University (2026). She is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology at Walden University.
Hilary is a member of the Minnesota Jung Association, the Fascia Research Society, and the American Counseling Association.
She lives in Duluth, Minnesota, with her daughter and their two black cats, near the shores of Lake Superior. Outside of her clinical and educational work, she delights in camping, foraging, traveling, and immersing herself in the natural world.
