Neuro-Somatic Complexity: An Embodied Micro-Retreat

Understanding complex nervous systems through neurodivergence, connective tissue, embodiment, and depth.

Sunday, February 28, 2027, 9A-3P

Location: Indwelling Community Room

Investment: $199

Guide: Hilary Buckwalter-Wilde

*Lunch provided by Ritual Salad

This spacious micro-retreat at Indwelling is an opportunity for women to explore neurodivergence, embodiment, and the complexity of their nervous systems, through learning, reflection, gentle somatic practice, nourishing food, and community.

Designed for late-diagnosed and neurodivergent-curious women, we'll explore autism, ADHD, and AuDHD not simply as ways of thinking, but as whole-body ways of being.

Together we'll look at the often-overlapping landscape of masking and adaptation, giftedness and overfunctioning, sensory sensitivity and overwhelm, interoception and proprioception, hypermobility and connective-tissue complexity, hormonal transitions, chronic stress, and burnout.

And we'll explore the shift from trying to fix yourself to deeply understanding your particular bodymind—its patterns, sensitivities, capacities, needs, and wisdom.

The day will weave learning and conversation with gentle embodied practices, and a nourishing catered lunch from Ritual Salad.

*This retreat will be offered to women, women identifying individuals, and non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experience of women.
